WHAT IS FAN SERVICES?

Fan Services are our information Points located around the venue.

The Fan Services Ticket Office is located outside on Level 1 opposite the canal, if you have any queries with your tickets or app, please head to this office before trying to enter the venue.

Inside the venue, if you need any support, there are 2 Fan Services locations on Level 1 (opposite Block 112) and Level 3 (behind Block 323). Our team will be on hand to support you with any queries you may have.

FOOD, DRINK AND MERCHANDISE

With 32 food and drink concessions, including bars, premium restaurants, lounges, and club spaces, there’s plenty of food and drink available, plus official merchandise from the event.

There will be official merchandise on Level 0, Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3.

Co-op Live supports Challenge 25, so do bring ID with you to make sure you aren’t disappointed if you plan on drinking alcohol. Please be drink aware and look after yourself and those around you. Note that Co-op Live is a cashless venue, and we’ll only accept contactless or card payments.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO ARRIVE AT THE VENUE?

We don’t want you to miss out, so we strongly advise you arrive as close to the advertised door time as you can. There’s plenty to do inside Co-op Live before the event starts.  

WHEN DO EVENTS USUALLY START AND FINISH?

We will always let you know when doors open for each individual event on the event page. We will also always try to let you know showtimes, however these are not always available and can change at the last minute. We don’t want you to miss out, so please always arrive with plenty of time to get through ticket checks and security once doors are open. For safety reasons we do not share the end time. Curfew for evening events is 23:00 unless otherwise stated. 

CAN I STAND UP AND DANCE AT MY SEAT?

Yes, we want you to have a good time and to enjoy yourself. That said, please be mindful of people around you, and don’t stand on seats or block walkways, stairways or aisles. To keep everyone safe, please don’t climb, crowd surf or mosh either. We love our fans, and we strongly encourage you to be considerate and look after each other. 

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I NEED ASSISTANCE WHILST VISITING?

We’re always here to help. If you have any questions or issues in the venue, please speak to one of our team at the Fan Information Points or around the venue. We’re often able to help in the moment and would strongly recommend you speak to somebody rather than raising the issue after the event. Although we love engaging with fans on social media, we can’t always deal with issues raised there at the right time.  

WHAT CAN I BUY AT CO-OP LIVE?

We’ve made sure that Co-op Live is about more than the show. With a range of bars, restaurants and lounges, there’s plenty of food and drink available, plus official merchandise from the event. Co-op Live supports Challenge 25, so do bring ID with you to make sure you aren’t disappointed if you plan on drinking alcohol. Please be drink aware and look after yourself and those around you. Co-op Live is mostly a cashless venue, and we’ll only accept contactless or card payments, unless you are purchasing merchandise, where cash payments are allowed.  

IS THERE A MULTI-FAITH PRAYER ROOM AT CO-OP LIVE?

Yes, please speak to a steward in the venue who will be able to provide access to our multi-faith prayer room.  

CAN I LEAVE AND RETURN TO THE VENUE DURING AN EVENT?

No, re-admission is not permitted at Co-op Live.  

IS THERE FREE WI-FI AVAILABLE AT CO-OP LIVE?

Yes, Wi-Fi is available throughout the venue.  

CAN I MEET THE ARTIST?

Unfortunately, we can’t make this happen, but some events include meet and greet packages as part of the ticket options. Do check this out when purchasing your tickets. 

DO YOU HAVE A SMOKING OR VAPING AREA?

Co-op Live is a no smoking venue, including all e-cigarettes and vapes. If you’re coming to an event, you can’t leave and re-enter once you’ve gone through the ticket check. 

WHO CAN I CONTACT ABOUT LOST PROPERTY?

During an event, we have Fan Services Information Points located on Level 1 (opposite Block 112) and Level 3 (behind Block 323). Our team will be on hand to support you with any queries you may have. Following an event please fill in our lost property form below, if your item is found someone will be in touch to arrange a collection. Please note, all unclaimed lost property is stored for a maximum of 2 weeks.

WHERE CAN I GET INFORMATION WHILST AT THE VENUE?

We have Fan Services Information Points located on Level 1 (opposite Block 112) and Level 3 (behind Block 323). Our team will be on hand to support you with any queries you may have including:

  • Answering any questions
  • Supplying ear defenders (subject to a fee and availability)
  • Supplying Young Visitor Wristbands
  • Managing Lost and Found Items
ARE THERE ANY TOILET FACILITIES OUTSIDE THE ARENA?

The nearest toilet facilities are North-East of the Etihad Stadium.

VENUE WHEELCHAIR/PUSHCHAIR STORAGE

The venue has a number of dedicated house wheelchairs, that can be accessed to move around the venue and to access seats. To request the use of a house wheelchair please speak a member of staff upon arrival at our accessible Entrance B, or speak to a member of the team at our fan service desk located on level 01 – opposite block 111.

Please note, house wheelchairs can only be used once inside venue and with the supervision of a member of the Co-op Live team. House wheelchairs can only be used to help move around the venue and not for the duration of the event.

WHAT IS THE RESPITE ROOM AND HOW DO I ACCESS IT?

Co-op Live is building a designated respite space; a safe space accessible to all who need it, including those with anxiety.

Our stewarding team will be available to direct and grant access to you on the night. If you feel that you may require use of this space, please let us know in advance if you can by contacting us. The respite room is located on Level 1 on the Northeast corner of the venue, adjacent to the Co-op Backstage Club.

CAN I USE ADULT CHANGING PLACES AT CO-OP LIVE?

The venue includes two fully accessible changing places facilities. These are in The Street on Level 00 and on the Level 01 Concourse opposite Block 114. Access is available via radar key. The toilet includes an adjustable changing bench, a hoist, and space for up to two personal assistants. 

SAFETY

WHAT IS THE BAG POLICY?

We don’t allow large bags into the venue for security reasons. You will be allowed to take small handbags in with you, as long as they are no larger than A4 in size. We have a one bag per person policy. Backpacks, travel cases, laptop bags and large tote bags are not permitted inside the venue.

There will be limited bag storage on site, priced from £15. This facility is located in the Official Orange Car Park on the Etihad Campus. Highlighted in red below.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR SECURITY SCREENING?

Co-op Live uses a frictionless security screening that detects prohibited items without you needing to empty your pockets.  

Our screening is simple; please follow these 6 steps to make it as efficient as possible: 

  1. Finish up any food and drink before you enter Co-op Live as you’re not allowed to take these in with you.
  2. Head to the entrance that is stated on your ticket.
  3. Open your app and have your tickets ready for scanning.
  4. Keep your small bag and coats on your person. There is no need to take items from your pockets, unless instructed to by our security team.
  5. Simply pass through the screening system when asked by one of the team.
  6. You may be required to undergo a further search; you’ll be instructed to head to the nearest search table if required.
WHAT IS CO-OP LIVE DOING TO KEEP ME SAFE?

Your safety and security are at the forefront of everything we do. Our designated security team are on hand to ensure your visit to Co-op Live is as it should be. When visiting Co-op Live, please leave plenty of time to pass through our enhanced security checks and cooperate with our staff as they carry out important work to keep us all safe.

We have comprehensive procedures in place for every type of incident, meeting regularly and working extensively with local police and other authorities. WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT ALLOWED INTO CO-OP LIVE?

If you’re coming into Co-op Live, you agree to a personal search and an item search. We can remove dangerous items and anything that’s not allowed in the venue. These include:

Food, glass, bottles, cans, plastic bottle tops, alcohol, large umbrellas, lighters, disposable vapes, professional cameras, and recording equipment.  

Please note that although cigarettes and non-disposable vapes are permitted in the venue, they cannot be used.

Other items that are prohibited include:   

Weapons, ammunition, explosives, horns, whistles, drums, fireworks, flagpoles, large umbrellas or any other item which in our reasonable opinion, may cause danger or disruption to any event or to other visitors (regardless of whether such item is illegal or is carried for specific purposes); religious symbols of faith, where certain conditions for entry (policy available on request and/or as otherwise determined within our discretion), are not met.

We also do not permit Laptops, iPads or Go Pro's (or any similar device) into the venue. 

If you need to bring items otherwise banned for medical reasons, please contact us in advance.

Assistance dogs are the only animals allowed in the venue. 

Foldable walking sticks are allowed into the venue, however, are not permitted to be used on the standing floor.

Any changes to the list above on an event-by-event basis will be clearly detailed on the event page.

ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?

All attendees must have a standard ticket regardless of their age.

Anyone aged 14 or under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Anybody under the age of 16 is not permitted in the standing area. Please note that Co-op Live reserves the right to remove or re-seat, if possible, any child who appears to be under the age of 16 for safety purposes.  

Additional age restrictions may be placed by the event organiser for specific events, so please do check before purchasing a ticket.  

On event days, young visitor writstbands are available from our Fan Services Information Point on Level 1 (opposite Block 112) and Level 3 (behind Block 323) allow easy identification of young people and vulnerable adults, in the event they are separated from their parent / guardian.

CAN I CROWD SURF OR MOSH?

No. We want you to enjoy yourself, and we care about the safety and wellbeing of everyone at the event. Crowd surfing and moshing can lead to serious injury to you and fellow fans. Staff may ask you to leave the venue without a refund if you do crowd surf or mosh. 

WILL THERE BY ANY PYROS, LASERS AND/OR STROBES AT THE EVENT I'M ATTENDING?

Live shows often include special effects, including pyro, lasers and strobe lighting. Although we do our best to find out in advance, we can’t always let you know before the event if this is the case. Please speak to a member of staff on arrival if you are concerned about possible special effects or contact us in advance for more information where possible.  

DO YOU HAVE DEFIBRILLATORS AT THE VENUE?

Yes – there are defibrillators outside all four main entrances of the arena, outside the three first aid rooms and in the bars on Levels 2,3 and 4.

ALLERGIES AND INTOLERANCE

Please be aware that all dishes are prepared in an environment that may contain nuts, seeds, gluten, or lactose and that all dishes may have some traces of these or other allergens. Full allergen information is available to guests upon request, please just ask a member of staff on the night.

SAFEGUARDING

WHAT TIME CAN I QUEUE FROM?

For your own safety, we do not allow fans to arrive early to queue or camp outside. We ask that fans arrive no earlier than 09:00 on the day of the event, and as close to the doors open time as possible for safety reasons. We do not issue numbered wristbands for the purpose of reserving a space in the queue. You will be allowed into Co-op Live when the doors open. You will then enter in queue order. 

WHAT FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE WHILST I'M QUEUING?

Limited facilities are available at the venue prior to doors opening. Should you wish to arrive early, we ask that you prepare accordingly including bringing sufficient food and water, and wearing appropriate clothing for the weather conditions on the day. To ensure safe and effective running of the venue, Co-op Live cannot guarantee access to sheltered queuing.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PHONE RUNS OUT OF BATTERY?

Please make sure your phone is fully charged before leaving home. There are a number of mobile phone charging points across the venue in the Street on Level 0 and one on Level 1 on Canalside – please ask a steward to show you the closest one.

CAN MY CHILD COME UNSUPERVISED?

Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult, over the age of 18. Anybody under the age of 16 is not permitted in the standing area.

HOW CAN I MAKE SURE MY CHILDREN ARE SAFE?

Ensure children have a fully charged phone, including a charging cable. There will be charging points located across the arena.

Ask the children in your care to let you know they have got into the arena safely and to keep you updated of their location. If feasible, do consider asking them to share their location with you at regular intervals.

Ask those children in your care to let you know when they leave the arena, how they plan to travel home and the time they expect to arrive home. If travelling on public transport/taxi, advise them to let family know who they are travelling with and how.

Encourage the children in your care not to travel alone and to stay together for the duration of the event and on their journeys home. Advise them not to go off with people they do not know.

Tell the children in your care not to enter the car or other transport of someone they do not know or have not booked through a recognised organisation. 

Ensure the young people in your care keep their money and personal items secure and on their person at all times. Remember bags cannot be any larger than A4 in size.

Ensure the children in your care know to ask stewards or staff members if they are unsure about anything. They are easily identifiable by their uniforms and lanyards. 

WHAT DO I DO IF I GET SEPARATED FROM CHILDREN IN MY CARE?

We will be distributing young visitor wristbands to young children, young adults and any vulnerable adults for easy identification from our Fan Services Information Points on Levels 1 (opposite Block 112) and 3 (behind block 323). Please visit the Fan Services Information Points to collect your wristbands.

If you do become separated from young people in your care, please tell a steward or member of staff immediately.
